Following are some common signs and symptoms of breast cancer that should be reported immediately:

  1. A new thickening or lump in the breast or in the underarm area.
  2. An asymmetrical change in the shape or size of the breasts.
  3. Dimpling or puckering in the skin of breast.
  4. Nipple Retraction.
  5. An abnormal nipple discharge, especially a bloody discharge.
  6. A red, scaly or swollen skin on the breast, nipple, or areola-Multiple small dimples on the breast skin which make it appear like an orange peel.

If any of the above symptoms are present, further investigations may be required.
