My current side effect I am dealing with from my Lymphoma treatment is an under-active thyroid. It was just discovered earlier this year. My doctors said they were shocked I went 9 years out of treatment with no thyroid issue. My Lymphoma was also in my neck and I did have radiation to that area. I was put on a thyroid medication and I am so happy my thyroid is back in a normal range! I have noticed a difference in my weight and energy level since then!

Thanks for sharing your experience @nicolemunoz801. It’s great to know that you are all right after so many years of treatment. Gives a lot of hope. And your thyroid issue has easily been managed with a tablet.

I was started on treatment for lymphoma with RCHOP chemotherapy. I am also a diabetic and on antidiabetic tablets for few years now. After I received first cycle of chemotherapy, my blood glucose levels shot up significantly. My oncologist told it was due to steroids used for treatment. Since then, I have been started on insulin and my blood glucose levels are fairly normal.
