About Stomach or Gastric Cancer:

Stomach or Gastric Cancer is a disease in which malignant or cancerous cells are formed in the lining of the stomach. According to American Cancer Society, in 2019 there will be approximately 27,150 new cases of stomach cancer in the United States. 


Risk Factors:

  1. Chronic atrophic gastritis
  2. Diet
  3. Industrial exposure
  4. Genetic Cancer Predisposition Syndromes.
  5. Older Age


  1. Abdominal Discomfort
  2. Nausea and Vomiting
  3. Blood in stool
  4. Unexplained weight loss
  5. Pain or bloating
  6. Fatigue.


Types of Stomach cancer:

  1. Adenocarinomas
  2. Lymphoma
  3. Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors
  4. Carcinoid tumors
