Positive Support for Life's Journey
Hello Everyone. I just celebrated my 2nd year as a breast cancer survivor! I had a bi-lateral mastectomy and reconstruction, along with radiation and that was the easy part. My cancer treatment antibiotics triggered multiple diverticulitis attacks requiring the removal of 12 inches of my colon, then I developed complications and had a blocked bile duct, my gall bladder out and my uterus. I also had reconstruction complications and have had surgery to replace both implants and remove scar tissue. I came out the other side of a couple of pretty crazy years, feeling more blessed and at peace with life and in February, I started as a way to inspire others to choose to see life positively no matter what obstacles you are facing. You can find my link on Facebook at or by Googling and I also post daily positivity boosts on Instagram at #positivelyanne (all photos are my own...great therapy!). Whatever cancer journey you are facing, be it your own, or that of a loved one, I hope I can be of some positive comfort to you. Blessings!
