In our pancreatic cancer support group, you can connect with people who truly understand what it is like to go through this disease. You can talk your heart out, share your feelings, personal experiences and our kind members will support you in every possible manner they can. 

We are a family who check in for each other and never let anyone fight alone. Connect with pancreatic cancer survivors in the group for words of wisdom, advice, suggestions, or ask anything you want to know. 

After joining the community, you get a message board where you can post anything related to pancreatic cancer to start a conversation. In case, you want to have a private discussion, then connect with members by sending them direct messages. You can also add them in your friend lists to see their updates in your news feed.

About Pancreatic Cancer:

In this disease, malignant cells are formed in the tissues of the pancreas. According to American Cancer Society, there will be approximately 56,770 new cases of pancreatic cancer in the United States (2019). It accounts for almost 3% of all cancers in the US. 

Pancreatic cancer risk factors:

  1. Obesity.
  2. Chronic exposure to heavy metals and harmful chemicals. 
  3. Family history of pancreatic cancer.
  4. Individuals whose diet is rich in animal protein, low intake of fruits and vegetables.
  5. Older people are at high risk of pancreatic cancer. 

Pancreatic cancer symptoms:

  1. Dark colored urine. 
  2. Unexplained weight loss. 
  3. Excessive fatigue. 
  4. Light colored stools. 

We are working to spread pancreatic cancer awareness so as to make most people aware of its potential risks and how can they minimize it. Our team of doctors and medical writers have created the content on pancreatic cancer in the form of infographics, videos, and articles.
