Hi! Any ladies diagnosed with Granulosa Cell Tumour? Rare form of ovarian cancer. Diagnosed two years ago & currently no recurrences, although there’s a high risk of it coming back.

About Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer develops when the cells in the ovary region grow abnormally and form a mass called a tumor. According to American Cancer Society, there will be around 22,530 new cases of ovarian cancer in the United States (2019). 

Risk Factors:

  1. Early Menarche/Late Menopause.
  2. Family History
  3. Genetic Cancer Predisposition Syndromes.
  4. Delayed marriage or childbirth.
  5. Hormonal replacement therapy

Symptoms:

  1. Pain/Swelling in the abdomen or pelvis region. 
  2. Increase urinary frequency
  3. Bloating
  4. Constipation
